“What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas” rings true because Usher in Vegas is what’s happening right now and he and his show are there to stay…for another residency, that is.
After a successful 20-show run during his Las Vegas residency in 2021 at Caesar’s Palace, Usher is doubling down on Sin City with the return of My Way: The Vegas Residency, this time at Dolby Live inside Park MGM.

The star’s catalog spans across generations. His show features an expansive set list that includes some of our favorite hits from the early 2000s to new tracks currently topping the charts. It’s no wonder his 2021 residency made record numbers for Caesar’s Palace with a sold-out venue on every show date, proving Usher has music for everybody and the man’s got range.
Going above and beyond delivering energetic performances and natural charm, Usher consistently raises the bar with surprise performances by other major artists, such as Yung Miami, Teyana Taylor, Diddy, Tevin Campbell, and Chris Brown at each show. An even bigger surprise to both the audience AND Usher was the My Way singer sharing the spotlight with Kevin Hart for a light-hearted, yet memorable moment on stage.
In addition to the star power on stage, he’s had quite the roster of stars in the audience. Appearances and special moments with living legends Anita Baker and Queen Latifah circulated on social media, each of whom he took time to honor. Usher serenaded Ms. Baker with the praising lyrics of “Superstar” and stopped a show to literally give the Queen her flowers for her birthday.
We can’t forget the hilarious moment the R&B singer handed the microphone to rapper 21 Savage to perform a live rendition of one of his soulful IG live R&B breakdowns. Even Kim Kardashian shared a moment with the superstar during a recent show.
He was quoted in an interview with BET before the start of the 2023 shows saying that his goal was to create a “magnificent show that gives you something to remember.”
It’s safe to say he “over-stood” the assignment.
If you want to have a little bit of My Way, Usher’s residency is extended until July 16, 2023. Rest assured, if you can’t make it, the snippets from the performances and overall experience shared on social media will reside rent-free in our heads forever.
